About Zooza

We started Zooza with the goal of making it more fun to do more things with your pets. After all... Life is Better With Animals, right? Maybe you've experienced the hassle of getting copies of vet records for that last minute stay at a boarding facility; or, maybe you've tried to enter a dog or cat show and found out how much time it takes to complete the paperwork, find registration certificates, and chase down sire and dam information. As long-term owners of animals ourselves, we found the same thing!

Zooza is the one place you need to keep all the information about your pets so that it's available anytime, anywhere, and to anyone you chose. We get rid of the hassles and fuss by using what is called "cloud computing" to store and manage your pets' data. Put it into Zooza once, and then we'll make it easy to use it for that next trip to the veterinarian, reserving a spot at a boarding facility, entering an obedience class, and more. Zooza truly does make life better with animals, and our pledge is to keep that moto at the center of our culture.

Tom Henn

Tom Henn

Tom brings more than 3 decades of senior executive experience to the Zooza team, specifically in the areas of sales, marketing, and general business management. He has been the CEO of 3 Silicon Valley start-ups, ensuring adequate funding and talent are on board for sustained success. Tom’s background in forming mutually beneficial business relationships, building early revenue streams, and creating compelling product visions will be key to success for Zooza.

Alan S. Brown

AJ Brown

AJ is a seasoned technology executive with more than thirty years of experience in the software industry. AJ has been a software engineer for large-scale database management systems while working for Hewlett-Packard and has specialized in the ergonomic design of user interfaces. He has been the primary developer of the Zooza application, which has been architected as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), multi-tenanted solution running on Linux.

John M. Shanebrook

John M. Shanebrook

John provides expertise in the area of dog event and club management with more than a decade of experience in the pet industry. He has previously organized and participated at several canine events, worked on the expansion of a pet supplies retail store, developed a distributor channel for canine supplement products, and run a small kennel operation. John is responsible for Zooza’s early and sustained success with beta customers and continues to oversee business development activities.

Allie Baker

Allie Baker

Allie grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses in Wyoming, Albuquerque and Arizona. When Allie was young she used to go to the rodeo and watch her dad "Cowboy Ed" ride bucking broncos!! At age 10 she programmed a Christmas Tree on her cousin's Commodore 64 computer and was hooked. She graduated from University of NM with a degree in Computer Science and worked at Intel, AOL and VanDyke Software before joining Zooza. Recently the family has welcomed a Golden Retriever "Pie" (because everyone loves Pie!) into the household. Her boys, ages 7 and 9, love the new puppy and the family's Maine Coone, Kezar Kitty, is slowly getting used to him. Allie loves living in Oregon and is looking forward to summertime with Pie!

Jen Lehman

Jen Lehmann

Jen spent 18 years working in the corporate world with a primary focus in Human Resource Management before joining Zooza. She has an adopted Golden Retriever that is 3 months old named Tucker. When not working for Zooza, Jen is a mother to two sets of Boy/Girl twins, ages 8 and 4. She also volunteers her time with the local animal shelter as a Foster Mom, primarily taking in pregnant dogs and helping to whelp their litters. She has had 168 dogs pass through her home in the last 2 1/2 years.

Jodi Silver

Jodi brings 17+ years of sales expertise in helping start-up companies expand their revenues. She has been either the initial sales representative or part of the initial sales team at Six Silicon Valley start-ups. She has specialized in selling tools on the marketing side including email, text messaging, web marketing and web analytics. Jodi has been successful both in an evangelizing sales role as well as selling within a mature market. She also has extensive experience in setting up the sales infrastructure/process for a company as well as helping companies identify which markets to pursue.
